Coach Lewis

Since beginning my coaching career in 2013, I've been deeply immersed in the world of fitness and personal training. My journey started with a strong passion for sports, leading me to pursue a degree in Sport and Exercise Science at University, where I graduated in the top 1% of my class. This academic achievement was more than just a milestone. It was a fundamental experience that equipped me with in-depth knowledge in athlete assessments, including body composition, VO2MAX, blood lactate, and exercise economy.

 

Over the past decade, my experience has grown through working with a diverse range of athletes. At the University of Cambridge, I expanded my expertise to coaching both individual performance athletes and specialist groups. My skills have enabled me to work with a spectrum of talents, from beginners to high-level competitors, including Olympians and Paralympic gold medallists.

 

My approach to fitness is science-based, ensuring that the training programmes I create are far from generic. They are methods that have been tried and tested to produce long-lasting results. I'm here to apply this knowledge and experience to your personal journey, offering guidance and support to help you reach your goals.

Coach Tahnee

From an early age, I’ve attained passion for sports and fitness. I spent my youth immersed in competitive football before pursuing an English Degree at university. It didn't take long to realise that I belonged in the fitness industry, so I quickly obtained my Level 2 and 3 personal training certifications, laying the foundation for my career.

For the past three years, I've honed my skills as a fitness coach, commencing my journey at David Lloyd, followed by Cambridge University Sports Centre. Eventually, I ventured into running my own business as a 1-2-1 coach at PureGym in Saffron Walden. Working with numerous clients during this time has been incredibly rewarding, witnessing their aspirations come to life.

My commitment to fitness runs deep. Every session I conduct aims to empower individuals with the same passion. At IGNYT, I foster an environment that not only nurtures growth but also encourages the adoption of healthier lifestyles. I firmly believe that consistency, coupled with a strategic approach to training, forms the bedrock of success. As your coach, I am dedicated to providing the support and accountability necessary for you to achieve your goals.
